  Probably nice, but I haven't done any hiking here, because they don't allow dogs on their trails, not even on a leash.
  If you have a dog, go to nearby Cleveland National Forest. The Laguna Mountain Recreation Area has many and varied trails, all allowing leashed dogs. Of course, like anywhere, you should make use of poop bags and carry them out.
