  The owner Toni was super friendly and talkative. The wines here were good, we ended up buying a bottle of the Syrah and when you buy a bottle she’ll knock off $5 off from your tasting. The wine dog was a cutie and plenty of space to have picnics and sit outside.

  We make a day and evening of going to Julian and tasting at Menghini. We have sat and chatted at length with the owners both previous airline people. Wines are great, atmosphere is wonderful, especially around sunset time. Great place

  I agree with Robert Cline, I too am not a fine wine expert by any means, yet I enjoy the stomped grape. Menghini Winery is a charming, unassuming barn in a country setting, complete with cats roaming the premises and a very knowledgeable wine tasting dude. I would love to go back for the festivals and parties they throw out there in the meadow. It really looks like a fun time for all. I wish they had a bed & breakfast to keep the happy wine drinkers close to the field and off the curved roads. I still have my stemless wine glasses embossed with the named winery and reminisce about my experience there. It was very memorable!
