  The service and atmosphere were excellent. I had the Ranger, which is a couple of eggs, pancakes, and I subbed sausage for the bacon offered on the menu. It was fine. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about either. My buddy had the Shaft, which is a breakfast sandwich. He didn't like the sandwich, but said the fries were excellent. My other buddy had an omelet with chili on it, he really enjoyed. I wasn't interested for chili for breakfast. All in all, service was friendly and quick. The company was good and the restaurant's atmosphere added to our brief visit to Julian. Four stars because I have to rate the food at a restaurant, but have no problem recommending this place.
